Looks like it's one of these days again. Last time I experienced this, I was the one patching in to the network.

[Laura enunciates very clearly now, wanting to make sure that if people who would know her are out there, they don't miss the message.]

I'd like to extend greetings to our visitors. My name is Laura Palmer. If any of you are from Washington state, circa the late 80s, early 90s...get in touch with me. Especially if you're from Twin Peaks or Deer Meadow, 1988 through 1989.

And Paddy, Miss Parker, Neil, Doctor--if you're out there--I think I want to talk to you guys most of all.

[And then her cheery, welcoming side comes back out again, even if she has to force it along with a smile.]

I'm fine. Things are...fine. I'm a warden this time!

[Yes, she sounds slightly proud. She kind of has a right to be.]

How have you been. [Less haunted he hopes especially.]

Things are better for me. [And they really are.] I don't have an inmate yet, but I'd like to keep busy until I'm assigned one. I'm in charge of the breakfast shift--I wanted to work in the kitchen, like Paddy did--and I'm teaching another warden how to read.

[Yes, she's still little miss community service.]

But you sidestepped my question of how you're doing.

I'm doing very well. No "oncoming storm". No "last great time war" ahead of me. Just a wide expanse of time in either direction that's still a mystery ahead and a miracle past. [And he absolutely loves that.]

That sounds wonderful. I'm very happy for you.

[Oh, she can ask him for advice! Rassilon and Omega seem to hardly ever be out and about, even if she wanted to ask them, and she'd never trust Narvin with this kind of information. Ever.]

Speaking of time...do you exist all throughout it at once? Something like omnipresence, I guess, but not at a Godlike level. Is it that way for you? How do you deal with it?

We don't exist at all points unless we transcend our physical forms. Which I'm capable of [and very much close to] but I'm still a bit bodybound.

We do have inklings however. The right direction, the wrong direction, threads of possibility on the wind.

What's your current state?

Back home? I'm still dead. Time was funny for me before, but it got a lot weirder when I...ascended, I guess. I exist all over the place at once now. Mostly different times--a lot of different times--but a few different locations, too.

I'm not like that while I'm here. It's kind of a relief, to tell you the truth. I'm only human, so it's not something I'm equipped to deal with.

At least you have some time, but as I recall Castiel would be a better choice for advice than one of my kind. He's more familiar with the out of body experience, being an angel.
