intofireforever[The video function turns on, and Laura can be seen to have painted some sort of yellow pigment, probably just paint of some kind, across her upper face and chest (which is bare, by the way, aside from a few beaded necklaces--it's a good thing she had her 18th birthday this summer, or this would have taken on a whole new level of creepy). A black pigment is smeared across the area of her nose and mouth, and she's wearing a pair of Laura's bigger, gaudier turquoise earrings (oh, the 80s, how we all love them). An orange scarf is bound around her hair, to keep it back, and she's wearing one of Laura's more provocative skirts (having slit it up both sides, for easier movement.]
This body is...strange. As though it has been sapped of the proper colors, and yet somehow...beautiful, in its own strange and ugly way. I could have fared far worse.
